It all started when Horde Industries was established in 2640 in the capital city of Prime on the Earth-like world of Terra. Our Founder and then CEO Adrian Horde created Horde Industries to fill a growing industrial need for the system. As Terra's population continued to grow after it's founding in 2516, so to did the need for resources. Adrian however did not want to see the stunning beauty of Terra diminished and thus created Horde Industries with the intent to travel to uninhabited systems in order to look for resources.

Fast-forward twenty years and Adrian had built Horde Industries into a respectable industrial corporation, albeit no where near the size and robustness of some others throughout the UEE. However, Adrian had no interest in expanding Horde Industries past it's modest size and goals. This did not sit well with the board of directors, ever concerned with increasing profit margins and the shareholders return on investment...
